Attendance & Commitment

Youth LEADERship meets once per month from September through May

Sessions run from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM and take place during the school day

Participants are expected to attend all scheduled program days

Space is limited, and participation is capped to ensure a meaningful experience for every student
Communication & Participation

Students are expected to actively participate in all sessions and group activities
-
Engagement, teamwork, and respectful conduct are core expectations of the program
-
Students represent their schools and the Youth LEADERship program throughout the year
Tuition & Financial Support
-
Tuition: $400 (nonrefundable)

Tuition includes all meals, program materials, and each day’s travel expenses
-
Thanks to corporate support, tuition is kept at a minimum for students
-
Need-based financial assistance is available upon written request from the student applicant

Program Overview

An introductory leadership program for high school juniors in Ashtabula County

Focuses on building leadership skills, teamwork, and community awareness

Emphasizes learning leadership through hands-on activities and discussion
